CWA Night of Crime

We have a wonderful end to the CWA Month of Crime, as the 'Silver Daggers' are won at the CWA  awards ceremony, we have a superb night lined up in Formby.

We had a seriously great time with Kate Ellis and Martin Edwards a while ago and with magic by John Harding and live singing by my Deputy Manager Vicky doing 'Bond and more', we had over 60 fans enjoy a real treat of a night.

You can join us on Thursday 5th July at Formby Pool Cafe, Brows Lane L37 4ED Doors open at 7.30pm for a 'Independence Crime Night' (well a day after American Independence)

Tickets are only £7.50 and we will have entertainment and hot dogs and burgers, a bar and cafe open and then three great authors reading and talking about their books.

Martin Edwards will have just released his fourth Lake District detective novel 'Hanging Wood' and there is also a reissue of his classic Harry Devlin sleuthing with 'All the Lonely People'.
Then we have newcomer and fast rising star Frances Brody, she is soon to be better known and we hope that this is a way of her meeting many new readers.
Our star attraction is Stephen Booth whose Peak District based Detective Novels are superb and he is a rival for Reginald Hill and Ian Rankin, so book your tickets and come and have a 'Criminally Good Night'

I will post some images tomorrow as they are on the main pc and I need to transfer to this laptop to work from home!
